Throughout a teaching career spanning over three decades, Dr Ian Morgan-Williams has led highly successful Music Departments at a large, rural comprehensive school and two of Britain’s leading independent schools. He has also taught at a private music school in London and continues to teach remotely for the Junior Department of the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He is an Associate Examiner and Moderator for Pearson Education.

He specialises in the online teaching of GCSE, IGCSE and A Level Music and coaching for the composition and harmony coursework elements of examinations. Additionally, Ian is well placed to offer guidance with preparation for Higher Education Music applications, auditions and interviews, and has gained much experience proof-reading undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.

Ian has worked with youth ensembles, theatre companies and dance groups for many years, composing and music directing concerts, plays, musical theatre productions and cabaret shows. He has also organised and led many exciting education projects in schools, ranging from orchestral days for over 200 children to online ballad-writing workshops.
